Kootenay Gold Inc. is focused on the development of its wholly owned flagship “Promontorio Silver/Gold Project”. The results from more than 20,000 meters (72 holes) show unique similarities to major deposits also located within Sierra Madre trend of Mexico (producing more than 520 million oz silver and 15 million oz gold within just the past 7 years). Promontorio’s Discovery Zone has identified a rich area approximately 200 meters by 300 meters in plan by 440 meters vertically, still open on three sides and at depth. Highights include 950 g/t silver over 18.4 m, 162 g/t silver eqv over 151 m and 551 g/t silver, 0.63 g/t gold and 20% combined lead-zinc over 3.0 meters. Step out drilling found very encouraging results more than 1,600 meters from the original Discovery Zone. Since 2006, Kootenay has systematically advanced the Promontorio Silver Project with a 3D Induced Polarization Study, an Electromagnetic Airborne Study, Surface Sampling, Satellite Imagery, Trenching, Sampling, and Mapping. In addition, an active Generative prospecting program creates a tremendous upside for investors and interested exploration companies by offering an impressive collection of properties for several more discoveries.



Jim McDonald is the founder and CEO of Kootenay Gold Inc. His 25 year career began working as a project geologist with Noranda Explorations Ltd., and includes developing companies such as White Knight Resources Ltd., Black Bull Resources, and National Gold (now Alamos Gold Inc;$1.8 billion market cap). He serves on the board and technical committee of Alamos Gold. Leveraging Jim’s Mexican success, Kootenay generated four gold/silver discoveries and raised ~$30 million since 2007).
